Setting Up a Home LoRa Gateway

A LoRa gateway is the bridge between low-power sensor nodes scattered around a property and wherever you actually want to see the data.

Getting range and reliability right comes down to antenna placement more than anything else — a gateway mounted a few metres higher can be the difference between full-property coverage and constant dropouts.

Once it is up, adding a new sensor node anywhere on the property is a five-minute job.
